In this week’s Scientist Highlights, we feature Halima Amjad, MD, MPH, who became a Johns Hopkins Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center for Minority Aging Research (JHAD) RCMAR Scientist in 2019. Dr. Halima Amjad is an assistant professor of medicine at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Her areas of clinical expertise include geriatric medicine and geriatric psychiatry, with a focus on individuals living with dementia. Her research focuses on informing and improving the care of older adults with dementia with research into safety, undiagnosed dementia, health services and new models of care.
