The application for the Center for Improving Care Delivery for the Aging 2022 – 2023 pilot funds is now open. Up to three CICADA Scientists will be awarded $35,000 to conduct a 1-year research project and will receive mentoring and additional support for career development during the award period.

In collaboration with Penn LDI, CICADA seeks to enhance the diversity of the aging research workforce by mentoring promising scientists from under-represented backgrounds interested in a career focused on improving health care delivery for older adults, particularly minority older adults. CICADA is one of a national network of 18 Resource Centers for Minority Aging Research (RCMAR) funded by the National Institute of Aging (NIA). CICADA focuses on the discipline of health services research and on the organization, financing, and delivery of health care for older adults.
