In this week’s Scientist Highlights, we feature Humberto Parada, PhD, who became a San Diego Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center for Minority Aging Research (SD AD-RCMAR) Scientist in 2019. Dr. Parada is an integrative cancer epidemiologist specializing in the epidemiology of breast cancer. His research aims to identify environmental, behavioral, and genetic factors that influence the development and progression of breast cancer and to understand these associations within the context of health disparities.
