National Coordinating Center (NCC) Structure
The RCMAR National Coordinating Center is housed at the Gerontological Society of America. The NCC is responsible for facilitating and coordinating trans-RCMAR activities to include working closely with the NIA Program Officer and, in coordination with all RCMAR Centers be responsive to requests generated by key RCMAR site personal, NIA, NIH, the scientific community, and the general public.
RCMAR Program Structure
The 2023-2028 RCMAR cycle includes 18 RCMARS located throughout the United States. They include eight Centers that address social and behavioral issues related to Alzheimer’s disease. Each Center is led by one or more Principal Investigators who oversee at least three cores. Additionally each center can involve one or more academic institution. Each RCMAR is led by one or more Principal Investigators who oversee at least three RCMAR cores. Each RCMAR can involve one or several academic institutions.
