Research and Measurement

Recruiting Older Adults into Research

The NIH, CDC and ACL are collaborating on the Recruiting Older Adults into Research (ROAR) project to encourage older adults and their family caregivers to consider participating in research by creating a customizable toolkit in different languages that highlights the importance of research to healthy aging.

All of Us Research Hub

The NIH All of Us Research Hub stores health data from a diverse group of participants from across the United States.

Registered researchers can access All of Us data and tools to conduct studies to help improve our understanding of human health.

Phenx Toolkit

Is a web-based catalog of recommended measurement protocols for researchers. Funding Opportunity Announcements (FOAs) often recommended using these. Using these allows researchers to increase the impact of their individual studies. Includes social determinants of health and COVID-19 questions.

Neighborhood Atlas

The Neighborhood Atlas website was created in order to freely share measures of neighborhood disadvantage with the public, including educational institutions, health systems, not-for-profit organizations, and government agencies, in order to make these metrics available for use in research, program planning, and policy development.
