RCMAR Seminar at the 2021 AAIC Conference
The Alzheimer’s Association International Conference (AAIC) is the largest meeting dedicated to dementia science. We are pleased to announce Drs. Cara Carty (AD-NAD), Ariana Stickel (AD San Diego) and Halima Amjad (AD JHAD) were among the RCMAR Scientists who presented at this year’s AAIC conference on July 30. The presenters highlighted their research on health disparities faced by older adults in diverse communities.
Dr. Stickel recently received media coverage (links below) for the talk she gave on the Links between acculturation and level and change in cognition among middle-aged and older Hispanics/Latinos: Findings from the HCHS/SOL and SOL-INCA.
