Scientist Highlight: Mario Gil (UTRGV)
In this week’s Scientist Highlights, we feature Mario Gil, PhD, who became a Rio Grande Valley Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center for Minority Aging Research (UTRGV) RCMAR Scientist in 2019. Dr. Gil uses animal models and a systems neuroscience approach to investigate the interaction between neural pathways that regulate and/or influence behavior, cognition, and motivation.
