SCIENTIST HIGHLIGHT: ANNA MAZUR-MOSIEWICZ, PHD (NERC)

In this week’s Scientist Highlights, we feature Anna Mazur-Mosiewicz, PhD, who became a NERC Scientist in 2021. Dr. Mazur’s RCMAR pilot project is “Do Adverse Childhood Experiences Increase the Risk for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Diabetes in American Indian and Alaska Native Veterans”. She is a Board-Certified Neuropsychologist and Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at OSU-CHS. She is active in research, with interest in post-traumatic stress and symptoms, as well as evaluating the efficacy of mental health treatment. Dr. Mazur serves as the director of Neuropsychology Division at OSU Behavioral Medicine and is a panel member the OSU Pediatric Mental Health ECHO program.
